Yay For Spring!

These fat little cabbage babies delight me! It is always hopeful to see a tiny brown seed that emerges spindly and easily harmed suddenly strengthen up, put on weight and eventually grow into something that will nourish and strengthen others.

This is my hope this season for Sparrow Gardens too. We are thankful to have the opportunity to have land. This year we will not need to sell all our seedling babies. Some I will be able to plant and daily watch come to fruit! My heart is hopeful for this year, yet we are kind of like these little cabbages. We are at the beginning stages, just setting up the land, getting it ready to receive both plants and people who will help care for it and enjoy it.

Although it can be a little scary at the beginning stages I can't wait to watch us grow! And I can't wait to share it with you!
